Camping at Ike Kinswa State Park

The weekend before last we ventured down south to Ike Kinswa State Park near Mossyrock, WA. The weather was ok, it didn't get nice enough to spend time by the lake until Sunday. Saturday we went into Mossyrock to keep ourselves busy for a little bit. Little did we know it was the 2nd Annual Blueberry Festival. They had lots of booths and stuff to do. We even got to watch their parade, which was pretty fun and was Alistair's first.

Alistair meets his first alpaca. We were looking at them and the gal came over and asked if we wanted to pet one. You can tell the alpaca is really thrilled about it! (: But Alistair enjoyed it!
Here we are waiting for the parade to start. We got lots of candy thrown to us during the parade - enough to fill-up a quart-sized ziploc bag! I guess it pays to have a cute 2 year old with you!

Alistair can now climb up on the picnic table bench by himself and helped himself to the coleslaw while we were waiting for the rest of dinner to heat up. At least his is using his fork! (:Alistair had his first corn on the cob. He liked it quite a bit and actually finished his piece!
